So I have a question for tennis people out there about hedging. I have a futures bet on Vandeweghe to win 100 for 5000. With 4 left it's probably time to hedge corect? Now my question is, do I just bet against her this time and in the final. The reason I don't like that is the final will probably be against Serena who will prob be a heavy favorite. Would this be a good way to hedge
Set up is semi final matches vandewaghe plays Venus, Serena plays Baroni
If i put 100 on Baroni to win at +1435
If i put 200 on Venus to win at +980
Now the tricky part is how to hedge for Serena winning because she is such a big favorite. Any suggestions?
